Huw is a RWCMD Junior Conservatoire student, member of the National Youth Orchestra Great Britain which performed at the Proms this year, a Gregynog Young Musician award winner and National Eisteddfod award winner. Greta, from Llanidloes, attended the Junior School at RAM, won a scholarship to Shrewsbury School in 2017 and begins at the RCM this September. Cerys attends the sixth form at Ysgol Bro Hyddgen and has delighted audiences here with her playing for some time. She plays with the Welsh Youth Folk Ensemble, AVANC and Ty Teires with Robin Huw Bowen.

“BEETHOVEN IN WALES”

This is the second in the concert series featuring all ten of Beethoven’s violin and piano sonatas with performances given in ten Music Clubs across Wales together with a commissioned work. The featured composer is the young Welsh composer Sarah Lianne Lewis who was inspired by the Sonata Op.30.No 2, and a letter Beethoven wrote to his brothers despairing over his increased deafness.
